Periodically, I teach a PhD course on qualitative methods for engineers and organization researchers called "Mixed Methods Approaches to Knowing The Field."
With the Tauber Institute for Global Operations and the Ross Multidisciplinary Action Projects (MAP), I have advised student projects involving the opioid crisis in Detroit, real estate co-operatives in Traverse City, warehouse operations and robotics at Amazon, grid analytics with GE, and Industry 4.0 transformation at Stanley Black & Decker.
